I am not lumping my direct supervisors in that description. In a year, I wasn't even asked once how the job was going or if I needed anything. Sure the paperwork gets done, but the employees are on their own. Management was the kind who sit in some office with the door closed all day, bogged down in paperwork, completely out of touch with their employees. There was an overwhelming lack of Leadership, at least in my department. They know that people are going to keep coming back, regardless of the level of service they receive. Problem resolution was poor and I frequently was unable to correct guest issues, even when WinStar was directly at fault.WinStar pretty much has a monopoly on gambling in this area. They are mostly interested in the bottom line. One of my biggest issues is that WinStar is not driven by customer service. Unfortunately, about 85% of the positions at WinStar are part-time with part-time benefit packages. For all others, the opportunity is just not present on the same level.Īs a full-time employee, benefits were excellent. It's a pretty decent "job." If you are looking for a career and you are Chickasaw, then WinStar is great for advancement. WinStar isn't the worst place to work in the world.
